Why this works:
- Hero overlaps slightly (intentional)
- Posts are pulled forward above it
- No clipping
OPTION 3 — The better long-term design move
Right now your hero is too dominant for a blog index.
You’re essentially saying:
“Look at this image… oh also here are some posts somewhere below it”
Instead, make it:
Hero = Context
Grid = Primary content
So:
- Reduce hero height
- Keep headline only
- Bring posts closer
